Comment bénéficier d’une bourse au mérite pour étudier aux USA ?
Chaque université fixe ses propres règles en la matière. Peuvent rentrer en ligne de compte :
- les résultats au SAT ou à l’ACT
- votre GPA
- votre implication dans des projets associatifs ou relatifs à la vie de votre lycée/université
- les activités extra-scolaires dans lesquelles vous excellez
C’est au moment de l’inscription que le choix des étudiants élus se fait. Dans certains cas, les étudiants sont immédiatement considérés dans le processus d’attribution des bourses. Dans d’autres cas, il faut remplir un formulaire spécifique.
Le montant des bourses attribuées varient lui aussi selon les universités et le niveau académique.
De même, ces bourses sont, pour la plupart, renouvelables chaque année sur la base de critères spécifiques à chaque université.
